A leading design practice in Vancouver seeks a Senior Electrical Engineer to lead large projects and manage teams. Team leaders are the front‑line managers in operational control, responsible for ensuring that overall team results (top line and bottom line) of their teams are achieved, and for ensuring Year End Review & Career objectives are established and followed.
Your role as a senior leader and contributor on our professional consulting services team is to work independently on large projects of high complexity, and as a leader of a team or project through all phases of a project lifecycle. You are responsible for developing and implementing an engineering discipline group equipped with up‑to‑date engineering and design tools and innovations, technical and supervisory capabilities and operating procedures to successfully and efficiently execute projects and consulting services resulting in client satisfaction and on‑time delivery.
Security clearance eligibility is a must for this position. Candidate must be open to a security clearance check and must have 10 years traceable residency in Canada.
A minimum of 8 years of related engineering experience in the design of systems for industrial, commercial institutional, healthcare or commercial clients.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Engineering & Licensed Professional Engineer. LEED Green Associate or LEED AP preferred.

Pay Transparency:In compliance with pay transparency laws, pay ranges are provided for positions in locations where required. Please note, the final agreed upon compensation is based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. At Stantec certain roles are bonus eligible. Actual compensation for part‑time roles will be pro‑rated based on the agreed number of working hours per week.
