A leading engineering firm is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join their Dartmouth office. The role involves evaluating and selecting electrical systems for projects, coordinating with team members, and ensuring compliance with engineering standards. The ideal candidate has over 8 years of experience and holds an Electrical Engineering degree. Strong leadership and communication skills, as well as proficiency in software like Revit and AutoCAD, are essential. As an Electrical Engineer in our Dartmouth office, you will work independently on small and average sized projects, and as a team member of a larger project under the guidance of a Senior Engineer. You will participate in the evaluation, recommendation, and specification for engineered systems or products for a project verifying compliance with applicable codes and engineering standards / practices.
An Electrical Engineering Degree from an accredited university required.
Eligibility for registration as a professional engineer in the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of New Brunswick required.
Minimum Of 8 Years Of Applicable Experience Is Required.
Experience creating tender document packages, including detailed drawings and specifications is required.
Typical office environment working with computers and remaining sedentary for long periods of time. Field work may include exposure to the elements including inclement weather.

In compliance with pay transparency laws, pay ranges are provided for positions in locations where required. Please note, the final agreed upon compensation is based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. At Stantec certain roles are bonus eligible. Actual compensation for part-time roles will be pro-rated based on the agreed number of working hours per week.
