What You’ll Do:

1. Contribute to an exceptional culinary experience for all guests.
2. Run and be responsible for a station within the Home Block Kitchen.
3. Execute daily station mise en place and service to the standards set by the Executive Chef and Sous Chef team.
4. Work in a kitchen with a daily changing, seasonal menu that utilizes the best of local ingredients and suppliers.
5. Demonstrate a willingness to learn, be forward-thinking, and adaptable.
6. Adapt to the unique service each day brings with confidence and excitement, sometimes performing roles outside your job description.
7. Work with and help develop junior members of staff, teaching and imparting knowledge.

What You Have:

1. 5-6 years’ experience in a similar standard of kitchen.
2. Be a self-starter, have high standards, and be a team player.
3. Solid cooking techniques, ingredient, and seasonality knowledge.
4. Excellent communication skills.
5. Positive work ethic and professional attitude.
6. Current “Food Safe” certification (or equivalent).
7. A real desire to work in a fast-paced kitchen that makes everything from scratch.
8. Quick learner, able to comprehend, incorporate & impart knowledge effectively.
9. Open availability until October.
