A leading engineering firm is seeking an EDI Systems and Admin Manager to oversee EDI data flow and integration. This role involves managing partnerships with service providers and ensuring error-free operations. Candidates should possess a diploma in Information Technology, relevant EDI training, and hands-on experience in automotive sectors. The position is hybrid after initial onboarding, with a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits.
Location: United States (Sterling Heights, Michigan) or Canada (North York, Cambridge, Oshawa, Windsor, Stoney Creek). The successful candidate will be based either in Canada or at the US site. Must be a Canadian or US citizen.
Job Type: Full-Time | Permanent. Full onsite for first month, then roll over to hybrid (3 days in office).
Salary & Benefits: $85,000 - $95,000 annually. 10-15 days vacation, depending on years of experience. Comprehensive benefit package including Health, Medical, and Dental. RRSP/DPSP Contribution Plan entitlement is on the first of the month following three months of continuous employment.
The EDI Systems and Admin Manager is responsible for the overall flow and integrity of all EDI data, ensuring stable and error-free operations and administration of all supporting and related systems. They work closely with peer ERP, MES, IT, and barcode labeling teams to facilitate seamless integration. The current system architecture involves outsourcing EDI service delivery to a third-party provider (QAD Cloud-EDI). Business requirements from internal plants and corporate teams are coordinated, vetted, costed, implemented, and supported by the EDI Systems and Admin Manager.
The EDI Systems and Admin Manager participates in meetings, projects, and collaborations to achieve priorities and adapt to changing business needs.
In-office presence combined with virtual conferencing to manufacturing plants and teams in Southern Ontario and Sterling Heights, Michigan. Occasional travel to manufacturing plants may be required. Travel between Canada and the US for business is preferable but not required.
