Our Client is seeking a Systems Analyst to support new and existing software applications. Tasks to include:
Assessing business requirements, analyzing application requirements, preparing options and recommendations, and presenting.
Collaborating with designers and stakeholders to create reports and ensure they meet project requirements and brand guidelines.
Creating & executing comprehensive technical solutions that meet business needs which are maintainable and fit within current architecture requirements.
Providing estimates and impact analysis as input to the business cases for major enhancements or new application development.
Performing software evaluation and installation/upgrade.
The position is Remote from within Alberta.
Must be a Canadian Citizen to apply and work within Canada at all times.
5+ years of experience as a Systems Analyst.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Experience reading and working with XML structures.
Development platforms & languages (C# & PowerShell preferred).
Experience executing SQL queries.
Working with source code repositories (preferably Team Foundation Server (TFS)/ Azure DevOps experience).
Understanding of best practices, methods, and standards for software development.
Experience with modern development technologies and libraries.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
