Overview

The Director Partner Solutions TPA role is designed to build a distribution network in their designated areas for Partner Solutions products and services. The Director Partner Solutions TPA will work closely with the rest of the Partnership Development team and the Client Success Team. The performance of a Director Partner Solutions TPA will be measured by the new premium and revenue generated and the ability to collaborate and work in a team environment to support the growth of Partner Solutions.

This is an office-based role that requires flexibility and considerable amounts of travel. This is a full-time role 35 hours per week with some evening and weekend work required.

Responsibilities
  • Generate revenue by soliciting understanding and interpreting needs of developing accounts
  • Conduct telephone calls and in-person visits to existing and prospective advisors
  • Work with our existing distribution network of advisors to understand their needs and their clients needs
  • Research sources (including networking social media such as LinkedIn and establishing referral relationships through sales meetings) for developing prospective advisors and for information to determine their potential
  • Listen to customer requirements and present appropriately to make a sale
  • Operate from a strong basis of knowledge and confidence by keeping abreast of the market the product the product line and the competition
  • Form and maintain strong relationships
  • Establishes develops and maintains business relationships with current customers and prospective customers in the assigned territory / market segment to generate new business for the organizations products / services
  • Assist in creating FAQs marketing materials etc. and to participate in any scheduled sales meetings and / or conference calls
  • Work closely with New Business and Client Services teams communicating clearly to devise a winning plan for growing / retaining business
  • Share best practices with other Directors of Partner Solutions and sales team
  • Foster collaboration within sales team (Partnership Development Client Services and Underwriting) and across organization
  • Encourage continuous learning within team solicit / provide help and training for professional development and achievement of sales objectives
  • Attend team meetings and share best practice with colleagues
  • Measure Effectiveness of Sales Efforts
  • Responsible for hitting sales results and targets in territory finding the right clients providing the right solutions
  • Attain growth revenue and volume goals using innovative sales and marketing solutions
  • Use the sale pipeline to ensure and maintain an efficient tracking of all opportunities throughout the sales life cycle
  • Review performance against operating plans and goals
Qualifications
  • To be successful as a Director Partner Solutions TPA you will need :
  • Minimum 3 - 5 years sales and/or relationship management experience
  • Excellent interpersonal communications sales background supervisory experience
  • Strong organizational and networking skills
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills
  • Independent self-starter who is confident enthusiastic and is driven to succeed
  • Positive attitude strong team player and customer focused
  • Solid Understanding of Products and Services Offered by BBD
  • Post-secondary education an asset
  • Social networking experience
  • Be a hands-on team player goal oriented and able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience working in a target-driven environment with particular focus on customer satisfaction and quality
  • Ability to work well under pressure including driving results (closing the deal) and meeting critical deadlines
  • Proficient technology skills including MS Word Excel PowerPoint and Solve
  • Level II Insurance License and / or CEBS GBA an asset
  • Member of appropriate Insurance Associations
