Adventure Canada is a dynamic leader in regenerative travel, specializing in expedition cruising, meaningful cultural connections, and conservation. With a small but mighty team, we pride ourselves on being entrepreneurial, collaborative, and values-driven. At Adventure Canada, our people are our greatest asset and we’re looking for a Director of Sales & Marketing to help lead us into the future. Reporting directly to the CEO, this senior leadership role is responsible for developing and executing a unified strategy that drives revenue growth, builds brand awareness, and deepens customer engagement. The Director balances vision with action: shaping strategy while also rolling up their sleeves alongside the team to ensure momentum, alignment, and results. This is a pivotal opportunity to influence company direction, build and mentor a talented team, and strengthen Adventure Canada’s presence in niche travel markets through sales leadership, brand storytelling, and digital strategy.

What You’ll Do
  • Develop and lead an integrated sales and marketing strategy aligned with Adventure Canada’s values and growth goals.
  • Manage and mentor a compact cross-functional team (Sales Manager, Digital Marketing Manager, Brand & Partnership Manager), building them into a high-performing unit.
  • Drive lead generation, sales conversions, client retention, and growth of B2B partnerships.
  • Oversee brand, content, and digital marketing strategies across multiple channels.
  • Evaluate and make recommendations on future e-commerce opportunities.
  • Collaborate with the CEO and executive team on business planning, forecasting, and brand development.
  • Represent Adventure Canada at industry events, trade shows, and with key partners.
What You Bring
  • 7+ years of progressive experience in sales and marketing leadership, ideally in travel, hospitality, or a related industry.
  • Proven ability to grow revenue, build brands, and develop teams.
  • Hands-on digital marketing expertise, with the ability to oversee strategy and contribute to execution.
  • Strong partnership-building skills, particularly in niche markets.
  • Expertise in CRM systems, analytics, and sales enablement tools.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and decision-making abilities.
  • A passion for travel, culture, and creating unforgettable guest experiences.
Location & Work Model
  • Based at our Mississauga, Ontario office (hybrid model with flexibility).
  • Occasional travel required, including trade shows, client meetings, and select expeditions.
