Director of Music

Willowdale Presbyterian Church (WPC) is searching for a Director of Music. This is a part-time salaried employee position at 15 hours per week. We are a congregation of The Presbyterian Church in Canada located in North York, Toronto, within walking distance from the Yonge and Finch TTC station. Many of our members are new to Canada, and some are new to the Christian faith. Familiarity and comfort with a wide range of genres of Christian music is vital to this role including Christian classics (hymns), global church, and contemporary Christian music.

The Director of Music is responsible for the excellent creation, implementation and smooth running of the entire music program at Willowdale Presbyterian Church (WPC). This position requires a love of music and a love for people of all ages and life circumstances, which is reflected in how people are treated in their encounters with the church through not only the music ministry but in all aspects. More specifically, the position is vital to the growth of WPC, and provides solid and impactful support, service and solutions to this end.
