Overview

Director of Business Development – Building Materials | Niagara Region, ON - Kwik Mix, a Canadian leader in packaged concrete products, is hiring a business development director to lead the sales function. This is a pivotal leadership opportunity to help scale a strong, family-owned manufacturing business with decades of operational success and untapped commercial potential.


If you’ve built sales functions in construction supply, hard goods, or building materials — and want to lead in a humble, high-ownership environment — we want to hear from you.



What You’ll Do


  • Lead the full sales function, with two direct reports

  • Sales are within a 200 mile radius around the Niagara Region

  • Develop and execute a growth strategy across contractor yards, commercial/industrial customers, and regional distributors / retailers.

  • Build a repeatable sales process and introduce CRM, pipeline tracking, and margin discipline

  • Identify and open new accounts while expanding share of wallet with existing customers

  • Partner with ownership and operations to align sales growth with production capabilities

  • Raise the bar for the entire company with your energy and passion for the product



What We’re Looking For


  • 8–20+ years of experience in B2B sales, ideally in building materials, construction products, or adjacent trades

  • Proven success in business development, channel expansion, and team leadership

  • Strong understanding of unit economics and pricing discipline

  • Comfortable with on-site presence at our Niagara Region manufacturing facility

  • Leadership style rooted in practicality, humility, and accountability
