A non-profit organization in Manitoba seeks a Direct Support Professional to provide care and support for children and youth with intellectual disabilities. Responsibilities include delivering services aligned with organizational values, promoting dignity, and optimizing personal outcomes. Candidates should possess a Grade XII Diploma, relevant certifications, and experience working with individuals with disabilities. Proficiency in both French and English is preferred. The position requires variable hours, including evenings and weekends.

Reporting to the Case Supervisor, Community Services, the Direct Support Professional is responsible for the delivery of care and support to children and youth with intellectual disabilities. The Direct Support Professional provides services in accordance with the Mission and Values of the organization and provincial legislation and regulations.
Hours will vary between 10-20 hours per week, with the potential for additional hours.
Typical shifts are weekday evenings and weekends (days/evenings). Dependent on planned activities, shift lengths may vary between 3-8 hours.
The children requiring support are aged between 1-6 years old and you may often be working collaboratively alongside other family members in the home.
