Job description

The Digital Marketing Specialist will play a key role at Stacktics where we create and maintain industry-leading services and technologies to empower enterprises in Marketing Media Management & Strategy, Marketing Analytics and Cloud Computing.

The primary responsibility of this role is to support the Digital Ecosystems Team in guiding clients’ configuration and management of marketing systems in the overall structure and utilization of their digital systems. The incumbent will be responsible for helping provide clients with strategic insights and guidance across a broad spectrum of Ads and Marketing platforms, channels and concepts.

The Digital Marketing Specialist will be responsible for communicating their broad technical understanding of marketing platforms and best practices internally and externally. This position emphasizes self-sufficient work and mentorship within established company and client business processes to complete tasks and maintain effective communication with stakeholders.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Role-Specific Responsibilities:

  • Work with Performance Marketers, including Search, Programmatic Display and Social Marketing domain specialists.
  • Work with cross-functional team members from a range of marketing and technical disciplines.
  • Guide and support team members in executing digital media-related projects, spanning:
  • Enterprise best practices audits, where the successful candidate will act as Stacktics' primary expert and guide our team through extensive analysis, as a core component of Stacktics' Digital Ecosystem Transformation projects.
  • Perform anomaly troubleshooting, to dissect and diagnose complex performance trends and issues through exploratory problem solving, providing clear conclusions and remediation approaches to our clients.
  • Conduct Paid Search keyword research, analysis, bucketing, and MCC-level asset structuring reviews and recommendations.
  • Guide our core Analytics team in data collection strategies for the design and implementation of tracking codes (GTM, Google Analytics 360, Adobe, custom scripts).
  • Work with developers/engineers to enable custom database feeds (GA360, Adobe Analytics, CM360, DV360, SA360, Salesforce, Point of Sale Databases, etc.)
  • Perform output quality control (reports, post analyses, campaign setups, etc.).
  • Stay informed on the latest trends in the Digital Marketing industry through research, article reading, webinars, and industry events (including exclusive Google Partner only events).
  • Support business pitches that include digital media-related components (including estimating time/effort).
  • Collaborate, support, and work closely with other Stacktics business units to ensure efficient workflow and realize cross-functional opportunities and enhancements.
  • Deliver thought leadership and drive strategy within the marketing team and in support of wider company priorities.
  • Stay involved in technical client communications, prioritizing your time based on urgency and importance.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Candidates must be eligible to work in Canada.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Statistics, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in digital Performance Marketing.
  • Minimum 2 years of client service and/or customer management experience (ideally in an agency environment).
  • Proficient working knowledge/certification across Google Analytics, SA360, DV360, CM360, Facebook Ads, Google Ads, Google Search Console and Google Trends.
  • Experience managing, mentoring, supervising, and coaching others is an asset.
  • Proven success in managing, optimizing, and reporting on performance marketing campaigns.
  • Solid understanding of how other media activities affect marketing campaigns.
  • Strong analytical skills to generate actionable insights from data interpretation.
  • Advanced knowledge of the Google Marketing Platform stack.
  • Experience with A/B and/or Multivariate testing concepts.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
