Responsibilities

This is a learning and support role that will rapidly expose you to a wide variety of digital marketing tactics and projects. You’ll learn a lot and grow a lot as a marketer, guaranteed.

So, what does that all look like? In any given week your tasks could include:

  • Supporting team members with day-to-day client tasks. Some of these tasks may include: pulling stats, setting up reports, launching campaigns, copywriting, proofing, wireframing, or adding content to websites
  • Keeping your colleagues organized by saving files, staying on top of communications through various channels such as email, Slack, Jira, and communicating with clients to coordinate meetings, delivery of assets etc.
  • Scheduling and attending client meetings, creating the agenda, and taking notes throughout
  • Writing, posting, and reporting on social media for Stryve and our clients
  • Handling multiple tasks simultaneously and adapting to shifting timelines
  • Internal administrative tasks
  • Using Jira and Tempo to manage your tasks and track your time
  • Helping us improve the way we work together by contributing to company discussions (we encourage all team members to share ideas and opinions regardless of experience or seniority)
  • Blogging: It’s part of our ongoing learning culture. You’ll occasionally write about digital marketing.
Requirements

Our new Digital Marketing Coordinator will come to us with a post-secondary degree in Marketing (or something similar) and a natural flair for writing and analyzing data.

  • The most serious attention to detail
  • A knack for writing (poor grammar drives you nuts!)
  • Ability to learn new technology, software, and interfaces quickly
  • Exceptional organizational skills
  • Multitasking is your middle name
  • An interest in digital marketing and a strong desire to become a better marketer
  • You’re totally comfortable with Microsoft Office
Bonus points if you have:
  • Experience with project management software such as Jira, Trello, or Asana
  • Experience using Google Analytics
  • If you format one word in your cover letter to orange
  • Experience using WordPress
  • Basic understanding of user experience (UX) design, web design, or web development

This role has a salary range of $46,575 to $53,405 based on your experience. Other benefits include:

  • Your choice of Mac or PC, whichever you work best on
  • $1,250 home office credit in your first year, $250/yr after that
  • Unlimited wellness days (for when you’re not at your best, whatever the reason)
