Your mission: Keep our dealerships looking sharp, sounding smart, and ranking high online. If you’re looking for a place where you can own your craft, help shape the digital presence of an entire dealership group, and be part of a supportive, creative, and fast-paced marketing team — you just found it.

IAG – International Automotive Group is made up of 6 franchise dealerships, 1 used car dealership, and a body shop in the GTA. We’re growing, and we need a Digital Content & Marketing Specialist to help us stand out online, drive traffic, and keep every one of our dealerships looking their best across every platform.

This is a busy, high-energy role where the right creative person can have a lot of fun, take ownership, and see their ideas come to life quickly. If you love working independently, thrive on variety, and have a passion for automotive, you’ll fit right in here.

Why You’ll Love This Role

  • You’ll get to create and optimize visually compelling, user-friendly web content, from landing pages to blogs, that converts visitors into leads and is fully SEO-ready with Yoast.
  • You’ll help maintain our digital presence, helping to keep our Google Business profiles, website content, and social covers fresh and on-brand.
  • You’ll use WordPress tools like SmartSlider and other tools to make high-converting, engaging content pages that prioritize user experience (UX).
  • You’ll work alongside a fun, collaborative marketing team with a graphic designer, social media coordinator, marketing coordinator and marketing director, plus external pros in advertising, website and SEO.
  • You’ll see your work go live and make an impact, fast.
Responsibilities

Website Content Creation & Optimization

  • Research, write, and edit high-quality website content and landing pages for each dealership.
  • Optimize all website content for SEO using Yoast (keywords, meta descriptions, headings, alt text).
  • Build and update pages in WordPress, leveraging tools like SmartSlider to create visually compelling, high-converting, and user-friendly content.
  • Maintain consistency in tone, style, and branding across all dealership sites.
  • Monitor site performance in Google Analytics / Search Console and suggest improvements.

Digital Presence Management

  • Help to update and maintain all Google Business profiles across our dealerships
  • Create and post regular Google Business updates to support campaigns, promotions, and blog posts.
  • Update cover photos, banners, and pinned content on dealership social media accounts when needed.
  • Ensure all online listings reflect accurate, current information.

Email Marketing & Client Retention

  • Plan, build, and execute creative email marketing campaigns both independently and in collaboration with our marketing coordinator to keep our clients informed and engaged.
  • Manage email databases, ensuring segmentation and accuracy.
  • Stay compliant with CASL requirements while finding creative ways to communicate with existing customers.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop seasonal and targeted client retention strategies.

Campaign & Offer Execution

  • Upload monthly sales and service offers to websites, Google Business, and other digital channels.
  • Assist with seasonal and campaign-specific creative updates (e.g., holiday banners, promotional landing pages).
  • Coordinate with the Marketing Director and Social Media Coordinator to align online presence with campaign calendars.

Content Maintenance & Reporting

  • Audit websites and online profiles regularly to identify and fix outdated information.
  • Keep a master calendar of content updates, platform changes, and seasonal adjustments.
  • Provide monthly reports on website, Google Business, and email campaign performance.

What You Bring

  • 2–4 years of experience in digital marketing, website content management, or SEO-focused copywriting.
  • Proficiency in WordPress, SmartSlider, Yoast SEO, Google My Business, and Google Analytics / Search Console.
  • Strong writing skills with a knack for making content both engaging and optimized.
  • Experience in email marketing and database management, with CASL compliance knowledge.
  • Highly motivated, proactive, and able to work independently without constant direction.
  • Eager to share ideas, take ownership of your role, and help shape the digital strategy.
  • Detail-obsessed and organized — you notice the small things others miss.
  • Basic design skills (Canva or Adobe) to tweak banners, covers, and profile images.
  • Familiarity with social media platforms and how they connect to overall marketing strategy.
  • Valid Ontario Class G driver’s license with clean record.
  • Ability to work full-time, in-office, with regular travel to dealerships within our group.
  • A passion for the automotive industry is a definite plus!

Bonus Points

  • Photography / videography skills to refresh online imagery.
  • Fluency in a second language.
