Responsibilities Tasks
  • Administer nutrition plan for food preparation and service programs
  • Conduct research to improve nutritional programs and food service operations
  • Determine the appropriate food route when an individual prescription indicates that nutrition is a determining factor in the treatment of the disease
  • Develop nutrition plan for food service programs
  • Evaluate normal and therapeutic menus to maintain and enhance general health
  • Monitor the nutritional status of individuals who follow a predetermined nutritional treatment plan
  • Provide nutrition guidance and consultation to health professionals, community groups, government or the media
