What You Bring
  • Successful completion of Food Service Worker Certificate and Food Handler Training Program (or commitment to obtain within a specified period, as required under the Fixing Long Term Care Homes Act and its Regulations)
  • Must be willing to accept verbal and/or written direction
  • Able to cope with the physical and emotional demands of the position
  • Geriatric, long‑term care experience is beneficial
  • Experience in long‑term care food service is an asset, including texture‑modified diets, therapeutic and production spreadsheets
  • Good communication skills, able to read and write in the English language
  • Punctual and reliable

The starting rate of pay is $20.70 per hour, and the terms and conditions of employment are as per the Collective Agreement.
