Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience as a Design Engineer.
• Aerospace/Defense and/or automotive industry experience is preferred.
• Strong CAD skills required.

• Execute designs for manufacturability and assembly.
• Conceptualize new products.
• Interface with and provide technical support to cross-functional teams.
• Request and support engineering changes as needed.

Our client, an established yet ever-growing engineer-to-order firm, is looking to add a Design Engineer on a 6-month contract arrangement, with possibility for extension and/or conversion to a full-time permanent role. The ideal candidate will have strong a Mechanical Design background, with experience designing mobile vehicle subsystems from concept to launch.
