Are you passionate about databases and integration, and working for a company that embraces cutting-edge technology?

We are looking for a Database Integration Developer for our Calgary Office to be based out of our Calgary branch to join our Consulting Practice! You’ll engage in enterprise database and integration initiatives that modernize legacy systems and enable scalable, future-ready architectures.

A Day in the Life

• Build and maintain robust Java-based applications and services
• Lead database migrations ensuring performance and reliability
• Collaborate on complex integration projects leveraging platforms such as SAP PI
• Drive the modernization integrations into microservices and cloud-native solutions
• Apply best practices in physical database design across Oracle and SQL Server environments
• Use Azure DevOps for source control, CI/CD pipelines, and agile project tracking
• Support escalations — serve as an escalation point for complex troubleshooting and problem resolution
• Produce high-quality documentation (HLDs, LLDs, as-builts, runbooks, transition to operations)

What You Bring

• 5+ Years of experience in Java programming and enterprise application development
• 5+ Years of experience in migrating databases from Oracle 11G to PostgreSQL
• 3+ years of experience with Tibco ESB and SAP PI integrations
• Deep knowledge of physical database design principles in Oracle and SQL Server
• Experience working with Azure DevOps tools and workflow
• Experience converting Tibco integrations into microservices is a strong asset
• Familiarity with cloud-native development and containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities

Salary: $80,455 - $105,598 a year
