Job description

Job Title: Customer Service - Warehouse

Location: Kingston, ON

Shift/Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 am - 4:00 pm

Pay Rate : $20.00/ hr

Our client located in the Kingston area is looking for a Customer Service Representative who is responsible for various duties including supporting the Warehouse Operations as the primary point of contact for branches, couriers and internal department on behalf of the warehouse.

Job Description:

  • Obtain orders, sort and distribute them based on service commitment, area of picking and special requirements on the order. Ensure that special instructions are communicated to the team.
  • Resolves issues with branches / procurement team when the warehouse is unable to meet the requirements outlined by the order
  • Arrange pickup of return goods and book inbound receiving appointments
  • Post in the System as required and file documents for all completed shipments
  • Monitors incoming email and phone communication and ensure that all inquiries and requests are responded to in a timely manner

Requirements:

  • Minimum 1 -2 years of experience in a customer service role.
  • Excel and AS400 experience, with a great memory for codes.
  • Strong analytical and problem - solving skills
  • High l evel of c ustomer service skills
  • Proven ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks
  • Professional verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Must have strong knowledge of MS Office including Excel and Word
  • Personal transportation to the work location will be seen as an asset
  • Comfortable working in a Warehouse Environment
