Job Purpose

GSK is looking to hire a Customer Excellence Assistant (Summer Student) to join our Business Excellence / Customer Excellence team. This role is hybrid, requiring in‑office presence two days per week, and reports to Customer Excellence Director. The ideal candidate will be based in or near Mississauga, Ontario.

*** This is a paid summer student placement running from May 4, 2026 to August 28, 2026, intended for students returning to school following the contract. Internal Referrals Are Welcome. ***

As a Customer Excellence Assistant, you will support the design, development, and execution of learning and training initiatives that enhance the effectiveness of GSK’s sales and field teams. You will collaborate with cross‑functional partners and to projects that unite science, technology, and learning to improve customer and patient outcomes.

Details (Your Responsibilities)

This role will provide YOU the opportunity to lead key activities to progress YOUR career, these responsibilities include some of the following

  • Support the Customer Excellence team in developing and designing interactive training modules
  • Convert flat PDF training materials into engaging, interactive learning experiences using tools such as Articulate Rise
  • Leverage technology and AI to enhance sales team effectiveness and learning impact
  • Assist with the development of onboarding learning plans and brand training modules
  • Utilize Illuminate to curate existing curricula and identify opportunities to improve learner experience
  • Develop written communications for sales teams related to training updates and initiatives
  • Support the design of learning materials, workshops, and training resources for Customer Excellence–supported brands
  • Assist with project coordination across multiple initiatives in a fast‑paced environment
  • Contribute to initiatives focused on enhancing field team capabilities and performance
  • Ensuring all activities align with internal compliance and regulatory standards

Basic Qualifications
  • Currently working toward or recently completed a university degree in Life Sciences, Business, or a related field
  • Must be legally eligible to work in Canada during the contract period
  • Ability to work effectively in a hybrid and virtual environment (Microsoft Teams, online learning platforms)
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated initiative, reliability, and strong project management skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment
  • Interest in adult learning, training, or sales enablement
  • Experience using technology or AI tools to improve workflows or learning effectiveness
  • Familiarity with online learning platforms or instructional design tools
  • Prior internship, co‑op, or project experience in marketing, training, or healthcare
  • Strong interest in a career in pharmaceuticals and improving patient outcomes
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience using Articulate Rise, Illuminate, or similar learning enablement platforms
  • Previous experience supporting sales training, onboarding, or customer excellence initiatives

In compliance with Ontario's provincial pay transparency legislation in, this job posting includes a salary range to support equitable and informed hiring practices. The annual pay rate for new hires in this position ranges from CAD$31,980 to CAD$79,950 taking into account a number of factors including work location within the Canadian market, education level (e.g., Undergrad / Masters / MBA etc.) and based on the experience required for the role.
