As our new Crew Member
you will be responsible for assisting the crew with quality workmanship, truck and trailer cleanliness, and machinery, tool, and small equipment care.

If you were working for us, here are some of the things you would have done last week:

• Edging, spring cleanup of gardens, and mulching
• Ongoing garden management, weeding, and plant care
• Fall cleanup of gardens and turf, and winterization
• Seasonal and specialized pruning and transplanting
• Fertilizing and pest management
• Irrigation and lighting maintenance services
• New plantings and garden expansion
• Improvements such as patio repair, cleaning, or drainage
• Operate various tools and equipment, including compact equipment, chainsaws, blowers, trimmers, pruners, wheelbarrows, measurement equipment, shovels, rakes, horticultural implements, etc.

• Read and interpret landscape designs and specifications to complete work activities
• Complete quality assessments of completed services and property inspections

• Maintain standards of cleanliness and organization in assigned trucks, trailers, equipment, jobsites, and shop/yard areas
• Perform preventative maintenance on tools and equipment by conducting inspections, lubricating, and cleaning

The Details

This is a full‑time, seasonal job, working at job sites across the Bruce Peninsula, from Tobermory to Lion’s Head, Wiarton, Port Elgin, Sauble Beach, Georgian Bluffs, Meaford, and Markdale. Outside of the Property Care season, there are opportunities to join our Snow department.
