We are looking for an experiencedCorporate Paralegal for our client. This is a full-time, permanent position that is based in the Vancouver area. Our client is a large company providing legal services to businesses based in North America and around the world.

You Have:

  • 3+ years of related experience
  • Experience working with AFL
  • Familiarity with the incorporation process under the Corporations Act as well as experience with public companies and the Securities Act is required
  • Ability to manage several files at once, a strong sense of planning and organization

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Minute book reviews
  • Dealing with incorporation's including pre- and post-documentation; extra-provincial registrations across Canada
  • Reviewing agreements relating to transactions
  • Determine and draft required documentation
  • Complete and summarize due diligence searches
  • Organize and complete closing documentation and closing books
  • Complete required provincial or federal corporate filings
