Overview

Contract: Temporary (maternity leave replacement until July 10 2026).

This role will be based in one of our facilities, in Montreal (Quebec H4S 2E7), Dieppe (New Brunswick E1A-1N8) or Dartmouth North (Nova Scotia B3N 1P4).

Responsibilities
  • Assist in the creation and maintenance of administrative systems to support HR functions (monthly reports, employee files) as well as provide SAP support.
  • Liaise with internal partners (Operations, Payroll, Benefits, Pensions).
  • Assist in the recruitment & selection process.
  • Assist HR Consultants with WSIB and Disability Claims Management.
  • Coordination and maintenance of internal programs and tools.
  • Assist with special projects/initiatives.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Exemplifies and consistently demonstrates our core competencies of communication, innovation, change management, relationship building, and leadership
  • Post-secondary HR related Degree/Diploma/Certificate or equivalent HR related experience
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, able to work both independently and within a team
  • Strong customer service orientation - ability to effectively communicate HR initiatives, functions, policies, and procedures
  • Strong computer skills - MS Office, experience with SAP is a definite asset
  • Previous experience working in a unionized environment is beneficial
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize competing demands
  • Ability to communicate in English and French required
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
