Responsibilities

• Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and fabrication specifications.
• Set up, measure, cut, and fabricate metal components (steel, structural aluminum, etc.) using fabrication equipment (brakes, shears, rollers, presses).
• Fit and weld parts according to project specifications using MIG, TIG, or stick welding.
• Assemble sub-modules and structural components for installation in bridges or heavy infrastructure.
• Inspect finished parts for dimensional accuracy, fit, weld quality, and finish standards.
• Collaborate with engineering, CAD/model teams, and installation crews to ensure alignment between fabrication and field requirements.
• Maintain tools and equipment; ensure work area is safe, organized, and clean.
• Follow safety protocols, quality procedures, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications & Skills

• Secondary school diploma required.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in industrial or structural metal fabrication (experience with heavy-duty/bridge-type fabrication is a plus).
