A prominent educational organization in Brantford, Ontario is seeking a Communications Coordinator to manage district communications, develop strategic marketing plans, and enhance public engagement. The ideal candidate has a degree in communications or a related field and at least 3-5 years of relevant experience. This full-time position offers a salary range of $86,645 to $98,460 with opportunities for remote work after the probationary period.
Communications Coordinator — Permanent Full-time, 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 12 months (1.0 FTE). Salary range: $86,645 to $98,460. Start date: Immediately; Duration: Permanent.
Reporting to the Manager of Communications and Community Relations, the incumbent will be a member of the Communication Services Team responsible for planning and implementing district communications strategies, executing associated tactics, and utilizing technologically advanced platforms to build a positive reputation and relationships with internal and external communities reflecting BHNCDSB’s commitment to Human Rights, Equity and Well-Being.
Reports To: Manager of Communications and Community Relations.
Work location(s) and time: Communication Services and Alternative Education Centre in Simcoe, ON with expected travel across the district. Remote work opportunity as per procedure after probationary period is completed.
