Position Overview

The Commercial Large Loss Project Supervisor leads on-site operations for large-scale commercial restoration projects, including fire, flood, storm, and structural losses. This role ensures projects are completed safely, on time, on budget, and to scope—while maintaining quality and client satisfaction.

What You’ll Do
  • Supervise and coordinate on-site crews, subcontractors, and daily activities.
  • Serve as the main on-site contact for clients, property managers, and insurance representatives.
  • Work with Project Managers to plan and execute job phases (mobilization, demolition, remediation, reconstruction).
  • Monitor safety, compliance, and quality standards, conducting daily site inspections and reports.
  • Manage timekeeping, materials, equipment, and cost control.
  • Resolve on-site challenges and document scope changes or issues.
  • Foster strong relationships through professional communication and responsiveness.
  • Support project close-out, reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives.
What You Bring
  • High School Diploma/GED required; post-secondary in construction/restoration preferred.
  • 3+ years’ experience supervising large loss commercial restoration projects.
  • Strong knowledge of restoration practices (mitigation, drying, remediation, fire/structural recovery).
  • Proven ability to manage crews, subcontractors, and multiple job sites.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office/Google Workspace; Xactimate, XactAnalysis, and DocuSphere an asset.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
  • Willingness to travel regionally/nationally for extended periods.
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
Working Conditions
  • Due to the nature of our business, this position will work normal business hours but may be required to work in the evenings, on-call, or outside normal working hours;
  • Perform tasks requiring mobility in tight or confined spaces, sustained physical activity (standing, lifting, walking, bending, kneeling), and working at heights over 5 feet as needed;
  • Manual dexterity for keyboarding, repetitive tasks, and prolonged periods of computer use, demanding attention to detail and high levels of accuracy; and
  • Periodic travel may be required.
