Overview

Claims Representative III, Bodily Injury — Co-operators (CGIC), Claims Department. Employment Type: Regular Full-Time. Work Model: Hybrid. Language: English.

Responsibilities
  • Investigate, interpret coverage, negotiate and settle very large and complex bodily injury claims for Automobile Policies.
  • Contact claimants, clients, lawyers and witnesses in the investigation and resolution of claims.
  • Manage very complex files involving multiple parties in defense litigation and Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR).
  • Coach, train, and provide technical support to the claims team.
  • Provide exceptional client and claimant service in accordance with claims service and quality standards to support the organization’s client engagement leadership.
Qualifications and Experience
  • Three years of claims or related business experience.
  • Post-secondary degree or diploma.
  • Chartered Insurance Professional (CIP) designation.
  • Provincial adjuster license(s) depending on the province of work or eligibility.

  • Regular travel is required.
  • You must have your own vehicle, valid driver’s license and insurance.
  • This role involves direct contact with clients and/or service providers in their environment.
  • Extended work hours, including weekends, may be required.
  • A Criminal Record and Consumer History background check may be required as a condition of employment if selected.
