Salary: $20.85 per hour

Overview

Provide caring support for a multi‑aged group of children in a private home setting. Responsibilities include household management, light housekeeping, child supervision, and meal preparation.

Responsibilities
  • Assume full responsibility for household in the absence of parents.
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties.
  • Wash, iron, and press clothing and household linens.
  • Discipline children according to parents’ methods.
  • Instruct children in personal hygiene and social development.
  • Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home.
  • Organize activities such as games and outings for children.
  • Prepare and serve nutritious meals.
  • Supervise and care for children.
  • Transport children to/from school and appointments.
  • Tend to children’s emotional well‑being.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months in child care.
  • Authorized to work in Canada (citizen, permanent resident, or temporary resident with a valid work permit).
  • Criminal record check & reference required.
