NLCSA is an industry-driven, not-for-profit corporation committed to providing cost-effective, affordable, and accessible safety training and advisory services to the construction industry in the Province of Newfoundland and Labrador. Our Mandate is to provide proactive safety and safety-related programs and services to the construction industry in the province that result in a sound foundation for a healthy and profitable industry. Our key offering is the Certificate of Recognition® (COR®) program, which is specifically designed to help companies institute an effective health and safety management program. In addition, the program emphasizes current safety training, legislative, and due diligence obligations that both employers and workers have under the OH&S Act and Regulations.

This is a leadership opportunity to guide one of the province’s construction safety organizations through its next phase of growth, innovation, and industry impact. The CEO will play a defining role in strengthening safety culture, advancing strategic partnerships, and ensuring NLCSA continues to deliver value to members, industry, and the public.
Reporting to the Board of Directors, the CEO provides strategic, operational, and industry leadership to advance NLCSA’s mandate and build on the current strong foundation. The CEO is accountable for the organizational performance, stakeholder confidence, and long-term sustainability.
This is a highly visible role requiring a leader with deep construction safety credibility, strong governance experience, and the ability to effectively engage government, regulators, industry partners, and members. The CEO will be instrumental in strengthening relationships, growing key programs, and positioning NLCSA for continued impact across the province.
