Overview

Would you like to put your extensive knowledge as a chemist to good use? At Soucy Techno, you'll play a key role in developing rubber formulations and improving processes, while serving as a technical point of contact for our customers. You'll work closely with internal and external teams to ensure optimal customer satisfaction. Generating new ideas and proposing innovative solutions will be at the heart of your daily work. You'll take on responsibilities commensurate with your expertise, while having the opportunity to grow with us and take on stimulating challenges that will take you even further!

Responsibilities
  • Design and optimize rubber formulations by meeting specific customer requirements, using your technical skills and ability to understand their needs
  • Interact directly with customers to present solutions, explain technical choices and negotiate the best options to meet their objectives
  • Gather and analyze customer feedback, and collaborate with R&D teams to adjust and improve products accordingly
  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement by taking into account customer expectations and proposing solutions that strengthen the business relationship
  • Act as the company\'s technical ambassador at customer meetings, fostering open and constructive communication.
Qualifications
  • Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or related field, with significant experience in an industrial environment and customer interaction
  • Expertise in polymer chemistry, with a specialization in rubber (a major asset)
  • Ability to explain complex technical concepts in a clear and accessible way to customers, with a talent for negotiation and problem-solving
  • Excellent interpersonal communication and customer relationship management skills
  • Team spirit, with a strong sense of initiative and customer service orientation.
  • Autonomy and proactivity in managing tasks and projects
  • Ability to navigate complex environments with diplomacy, while maintaining a focus on customer satisfaction and results
