A regional school district in New Brunswick seeks a Casual Student Attendant to assist exceptional students with their physical needs. The role involves providing support in transportation, personal care, and maintaining a positive environment. This position may involve assignments on short notice, and candidates must reside within reasonable proximity to assigned schools.
ASD-S is home to 25,000 K-12 students in the communities of southern New Brunswick, from Sussex to St. Stephen and the Fundy Isles. This position primarily involves attending to the physical needs of exceptional students. The work is of limited complexity and requires direct assistance to students, particularly with mobility, hygiene, and personal care.
Please note, due to the nature of the Casual Student Attendant role, assignments are often made on short notice. Therefore, applicants should reside within ASD‑S boundaries or in reasonable proximity to the assigned schools. If you live outside of the ASD‑S region, please explain in your application how you would meet this requirement.
