Overview

The Good Spirit School Division invites applications for Casual Library Technicians.

Casuals are called in as required when a permanent employee is absent. Individuals work flexible assignments to support the operational needs of schools in various locations throughout our division. These individuals ensure the students "come first" and have the support they need to create a positive, friendly and safe learning environment.

Salary Details:

In Accordance with the CUPE 4784 Collective Agreement

Responsibilities
  • Cataloguing of library resources.
  • Working collaboratively as a team member, along with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Other duties as outlined on our website in Job Description - Library Technician.
Qualifications
  • Minimum Grade 12 or equivalent training/experience with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Experience as a Library Technician will be considered an asset.
  • Candidates must have patience and compassion and enjoy working with children to create a fun, positive, safe learning environment.
