Overview
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Service Technician to join our team, specializing in the servicing and maintenance of Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) equipment. This role involves hands-on work with magnetic wet benches, automatic film processors, industrial X-ray systems, and related calibration services. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical aptitude, troubleshooting skills, and a customer-focused mindset.
Responsibilities
- Equipment Servicing & Repair: Install, maintain, and repair magnetic particle wet benches, automatic film processors, and industrial X-ray machines.
- Perform scheduled preventive maintenance and emergency repairs.
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and software issues.
- Calibration & Testing: Conduct accurate calibrations of NDT instruments to meet industry standards.
- Document test results and calibration records in compliance with regulatory and company requirements.
- Customer Support: Provide on-site and remote technical support to clients.
- Train customers on equipment operation, safety, and maintenance best practices.
- Act as a trusted advisor for NDT service solutions.
- Compliance & Safety: Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with safety codes (e.g., Safety Code 34), manufacturer requirements, and internal quality standards.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
- Documentation: Complete service reports, maintenance logs, and calibration certificates.
- Communicate service findings and recommendations to clients and internal teams.
Must be able to travel abroad for ongoing training and workshops.
