Currently we are seeking a full-time (35 hours) Financial Assistance Coordinator – Starting pay range $ 20.00 - $ 22.00

Lamprey Health Care currently has a 35 hour per week opportunity for a Financial Assistance Counselor. Position would work on site in our Raymond and Newmarket locations. This role oversees the responsibility of administering and maintaining Lamprey’s Sliding Fee Scale Program to include processing applications, assisting patients with Medicaid and Marketplace insurance enrollment,data entry and answering patient inquiries. The FAC will also function as a resource to our Patient Service Representatives with billing and insurance questions.

Qualifications:

A high school diploma is required for this position. Additional certification and/or associates degree welcome. Position requires a self-starting, positive individual with strong interpersonal communication skills, as well as organizational, and computer skills using MS Office software applications. A preference for team-oriented working environments desired. Non-profit and/or health field experience a plus.

Three to five years of related medical office with a strong background in medical billing preferably in a FQHC environment.
