About the Opportunity

• Data Modeling: Design and implement enterprise-grade Star Schemas, clearly defining Fact vs. Dimension tables to ensure report performance.




• Backend Engineering: Write complex SQL stored procedures and build SSIS packages to Extract, Transform, and Load (ETL) raw data from ERP systems (SAP/Navision).




• Advanced Power BI Development: Move beyond drag-and-drop visuals; write custom DAX functions (e.g., Time Intelligence, CALCULATE, Context Filters) to solve business logic problems.




• Data Governance: Cleanse and validate unstructured data, ensuring "Single Source of Truth" accuracy before visualization.




• Cross-Functional Support: Collaborate with the "BI Manager" and HQ teams to troubleshoot data discrepancies and integrate new data sources.

About You

• Mandarin Fluency: Must be able to speak, read, and write in Mandarin to coordinate with international technical teams.




• The "Builder" Mindset: You have a background in Computer Science or Database Development, not just general business analysis. You understand how the database works.




• Technical Toolkit:




• 3+ years of experience in BI Development or Data Engineering.




• SQL Expert: You can write complex queries, joins, and stored procedures from scratch.




• DAX Expert: You understand "Row Context" vs. "Filter Context" and "Columns" vs. "Measures."




• Experience with SSIS and SSAS Tabular Models.

• Bonus Assets: Knowledge of Big Data tools (Apache Doris, Hadoop) or ERP data structures.




• Salary Range: $90,000 – $110,000 CAD per year
