Assistant General Manager - Peace Regional Waste Management Company (PRWMC) is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant General Manager to join our team at the Waste Management Facility near Peace River, Alberta. This position supports the General Manager by assisting in the oversight of daily landfill and recycling operations, supervising personnel to achieve operational objectives and ensure regulatory compliance. The Assistant General Manager also plays a key role in project coordination, equipment procurement, and safety programs. This position may serve as the acting General Manager in the absence of the General Manager.
Requirements: high school diploma and minimum five years of related experience in landfill, recycling operations or construction/site development; at least three years of direct supervisory experience. The Assistant General Manager supports the General Manager by working in office and field under supervision, requires sound judgment and ability to comply with regulatory requirements and permits. Knowledge of planning, organizing, and supervising active operations and maintenance of closed areas; ability to read topographic/construction drawings and reports.
