Overview

If you like being part of live events and dealing with people, this is the position for you. SaskTel Centre is looking for an enthusiastic Box Office Cashier to join the team on a casual basis with availability on evenings and weekends. The Box Office Cashier is responsible for selling tickets and provides customer service by communicating information regarding the events, seating options, price structures, and other details to help guests select the best event ticket option.

Typical Duties
  • Processes event ticket sales in person using SaskTel Centre ticketing software. Supporting customers on the phone with their online purchases.
  • Provides event details to customers including schedules, event description, policy explanation and facility access / egress.
  • Responds to related complaints and enquiries in accordance with established policy and procedures.
  • Prepares shift revenue balancing reports, balances transactions to reports, balances cash float, and prepares a bank deposit.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Abilities and Skills
  • Knowledge of accepted procedures for handling cash, balancing transactions, and making up deposit slips.
  • Knowledge of customer service principles and practices.
  • Ability to interact with customers and remain calm when dealing with customers during high volume periods.
  • Ability to provide responsive customer service, convey confidence and competence.
  • Ability to maintain records and to make accurate arithmetic calculations.
  • Ability to understand and execute oral and written instructions.
  • Ability to establish effective working relationships.
  • Skill in the operation of office equipment and automated systems, including a programmed cash register.
Security Requirements

Hours of Work
