A local consulting firm in Kelowna is seeking an experienced accounting professional to manage payroll, maintain financial records, and prepare tax returns. The ideal candidate will have a high school graduation certificate and 2 years of relevant experience. This position requires working on-site with no option for remote work.

Qualifications

  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in accounting or bookkeeping.

Responsibilities

  • Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll.
  • Keep financial records and establish, maintain and balance various accounts.
  • Maintain general ledgers and financial statements.
  • Post journal entries.
  • Prepare tax returns.
  • Reconcile accounts.
