CONTENT CLAIMS SPECIALIST (Bilingual: English | French)
We are hiring an in-house bilingual content claims specialist to join our team remotely in Canada.
The position location is flexible, and we can offer in-office, hybrid, or fully remote working arrangements.
Candidates in Quebec must have some AMF courses completed. In Ontario, at least 4 CIP courses completed.
Location: Montreal, Quebec
Experience: 3-6 years in Claims - Insurance Industry

- High-speed internet service is required.
- Effective communication skills in both French and English, verbally and in writing.
- Secondary School diploma; experience in property claims industry is a plus.
- Company equipment will be provided; employees are responsible for care and maintenance.
JOB DESCRIPTION
- Handle content claims, primarily focusing on fair market assessments and valuations for policyholders’/claimants’ total loss personal contents caused by theft, water, fire, etc.
- Record all daily claims handling activities and fulfill administrative duties from home-based offices.
- Process claims accurately and timely using professional methodologies and the exclaim platform.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Record time spent on each claim daily.
- Promote the company’s brand and reputation professionally.
- Meet performance and productivity standards.
- Maintain a high-speed internet connection and proper home office setup.
- Ensure timely and quality claim processing.
- Research and price contents based on inventories, forms, and contractor lists.
- Perform additional claims-related tasks as directed.
- Submit reports and close claims within performance cycle times.
- Communicate effectively with all stakeholders.
- Maintain a 40-hour workweek as required.
- Document claim notes accurately in the claims system.
- Research and price higher-valued contents using various sources.
