This is an excellent opportunity for a Band 5 Staff Nurse to join a specialist Orthopaedic and Spinal Surgery ward within a supportive and professional inpatient setting. The role offers the chance to deliver high quality, evidence‑based care while developing clinical confidence, leadership skills and specialist knowledge within a collaborative multidisciplinary team.
Job Title: Staff Nurse – Band 5 | Department: Orthopaedic and Spinal Surgery Ward | Salary: £40,491–£51,113 (depends on experience) | Type: Permanent | Hours: 37.5 (including long days, nights and weekend)
You will be a Registered Nurse with current NMC registration who is passionate about delivering high quality patient care within an acute inpatient setting. You have experience or a genuine interest in orthopaedic and spinal surgery and enjoy working as part of a close‑knit multidisciplinary team. You bring strong clinical assessment skills, a calm and organised approach to care, and the confidence to recognise and respond to patient needs. With good communication skills and a positive attitude, you will be keen to develop your clinical expertise and grow your career within a supportive and specialist surgical environment.
