Fountain Tire Melfort, an established automotive repair shop, is looking for a responsible, safe, and dedicated associate to join our team as an Automotive Tire Technician.

Job Duties:
  • Installing, balancing, rotating, and repairing passenger and light truck tires and wheels
  • Resetting and repairing tire pressure monitoring systems (TPMS)
  • Maintaining tire service equipment on a regularly scheduled basis
  • Completing specialty tire work which could include studding, retread, run flat, nitrogen, etc.
  • Assist in inventory management through documentation processes and annual inventory counts
  • The responsibility to keep yourself and your coworkers safe

Job Requirements:
  • Punctual
  • Able to work independent and part of a team
  • Able to lift 50 lbs
  • Willing to live in a rural community
  • Drivers licence
  • Ability to use diagnostic computerized equipment
  • Computer literate
  • Ability to provide a positive customer experience with customers when revealing diagnosis of vehicle if required
  • A working knowledge of passenger and light truck tires, specialty tire services and wheels is an asset
  • A customer-service focus with the ability to develop and maintain effective relationships with team members and customers
  • A keen attention to detail
  • Basic computer skills
