Automotive Detailer

Come grow with us! The Don-Mor Automotive Group is looking to welcome a new Automotive Detailer to the team. You will be responsible for assisting the Quality Liaison and Production Manager in the achievement of company and department goals as communicated by the Production Manager and General Manager. The performance of the duties must ensure quality service to all vehicles.

What are your responsibilities?

With a focus on timely and accurate results, this position will be responsible to support the Detailing Team in providing excellent cleaning services to the continuous flow vehicles that come from our retail customers and the collision shop.

Specific Responsibilities include :
  • Mark all existing damage on vehicles upon their arrival
  • Photograph existing damage on vehicles
  • Perform incoming check list, regarding damage, electrical lights, and scan into computer management system
  • Degrease vehicle including door jams and wheel wells and power wash vehicle
  • Label window, and install appropriate flags and hats
  • Prepare vehicle for delivery to customer
  • Clean windows
  • Vacuum vehicle interior
  • Wash and Chammy exterior
  • Complete Quality Assurance checklist to confirm all vehicle functions operating correctly
  • Maintains a safe and clean, productive, and efficient work area
  • Complete other ad hoc duties as assigned including garbage collection, premises cleaning, grass cutting, securing of building and vehicles at night, etc.
