Crafted Highlight s :

In the role of Asset Care Team Leader working at the St. John’s Brewery, the successful candidate will provide leadership to the brewery Asset Care Team including hourly, salaried and contract employees, to proactively maintain brewery assets, facilities, and infrastructure. Plans and coordinates maintenance resources for the execution of planned preventive maintenance events. Manages the maintenance personnel at the point of work, coordinates shift maintenance personnel for emergency repairs due to unexpected breakdowns to reduce unscheduled downtime. Provides leadership and prioritizes repairs for high-speed manufacturing equipment and maximizes utilization of maintenance resources and equipment uptime.

What You’ll Be Brewing :

  • Works with a safety mindset and ensures brewery and Asset Care compliance with all relevant EH&S legislation and regulations
  • Champions a culture of proactive and preventative maintenance with safety, quality, and reliability as key priorities
  • Leads the team's pursuit of continuous improvement under the umbrella of World Class Supply Chain (WCSC).
  • Responsible for developing and following the brewery Asset Care strategy aligned to MCBC's.
  • Ensures the brewery meets demands of forthcoming local and corporate initiatives, which includes but is not limited to, structured work compliance, preventative maintenance, autonomous maintenance, focused improvement, and other relevant daily management systems.
  • Always operates in alignment with Our Purpose, Ambition and Values.

Key Ingredients :

• Bachelor’s degree in science/engineering, Technology Program from an Accredited Post Secondary School or Red Seal Industrial Millwright or Electrician

• 3-5 years’ experience in a high-speed, manufacturing environment

• Leading teams with a culture of continuous improvement and an EHS mindset

• Asset Care Planner/Scheduler and SAP experience are considered assets
