About us

The Department of Treasury and Finance is at the centre of Government decision-making. As the principal economic and financial advisor, we provide leadership and strategic advice and influence to support the delivery of services and outcomes for the benefit of Western Australia.

What we do is integral to the Government’s decision-making processes about where and how to spend taxpayer’s money to ensure Western Australians have access to quality services on a financially sustainable basis.

We lead procurement and leverage our buying power to secure products and services for government, achieving value for money for WA.

We collect revenue to fund government services and administer payment of grants and subsidies to the WA community.

The work area

This role is part of the Corporate Strategy and Performance team within the Advisory Services business unit. The team focuses on delivering exceptional internal customer service by equipping Department staff with the ICT tools and support they need to achieve their objectives. We foster strong, collaborative relationships to understand requirements and ensure the effective operation and delivery of ICT services.

The opportunity

  • the management of ICT assets and equipment of the department through their disposal;
  • manage contracts relating the ICT assets and equipment of the Department;
  • manage contract payments and variations relating to assets, licences and contracts;
  • proactively analyses and evaluates information;
  • builds trust and effectively works together with a diverse range of stakeholders;
  • communicates information in a clear and effective manner.

This position is a Permanent Full-Time opportunity.

NOTE : Due to the department shutdown over the Christmas / New Year period, interviews won’t occur untilearly 2026, and the selected candidate will be expected to commence in the role in the new year.
