Job summary

A major gaming organization in Sault Ste. Marie is seeking a Compliance & Investigations intern to join their Anti-Money Laundering (AML) team. Position Summary

Working as part of a large Compliance & Investigations department, the Anti-Money Laundering (AML) team consists of three teams: Analysis, Reporting and Oversight. You will gain real-world experience of AML by undertaking analytical work relating to high‑risk customers, completing regulatory reporting of suspicious activity to FINTRAC, as well as being involved in producing discussion papers and training resources.

What You Need To Play
Education: Currently enrolled in a post-secondary degree program in Finance, Law, Criminology, Business Administration or a related field is preferred.
Work Experience: Experience working in a customer service-based environment. Experience in using customer reporting management application (CRM) would be an asset.
Knowledge & Skills: Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills; highly developed verbal and written communication skills; ability to work independently and within a team in a fast‑paced environment; ability to self‑motivate with a desire to learn new skills; proficient with Microsoft Teams, Office, Word, Excel and Outlook; fast and accurate keyboarding skills; strong problem solving and multi‑tasking skills and excellent interpersonal skills.

Licenses, Registrations, Certificates: AGCO Category 2 Gaming Assistant Registration is required (initiated at offer stage – employment is conditional upon obtaining and maintaining this license).
