Come and be part of our talented and growing team. We are currently looking for an Analyst, Financial Reporting to join the finance team, reporting to the manager, financial reporting.

The successful candidate will support and process various aspects of the day-to-day management of the accounting team, which handles the treatment of various types of transactions.

What Will You Work On?

  • Completion of reconciliation, accounting, and reporting activities.
  • Participation in quarterly and annual financial statements and Management's Discussion and Analysis (MD&A).
  • Involvement in monthly close processes.
  • Preparation of manual journal entries.
  • Daily review of trial balances for unusual activity.
  • Completion of monthly reconciliations.
  • Ensure compliance with Fairstone processes and internal policies; document procedures and processes.
  • Involvement in operational and financial reporting audits and controls.
  • Contributing to activities related to process improvement and automation.
  • Participating in other ad hoc projects as required.

Who Are We Looking For?

  • University degree in Finance or Accounting.
  • CPA certification would be considered an asset.
  • At least 6 months relevant experience in accounting.
  • Experience working at a large financial institution and a multinational corporation.
  • Knowledge of accounting and finance; ability to work independently and meet multiple deadlines.
