What is Required (Qualifications):
  • Post-secondary education in Business Administration, Risk Management, Accounting, or a related field
  • Insurance professional designation (in progress), such as Chartered Insurance Professional (CIP) or Canadian Risk Management (CRM)
  • Solid knowledge of insurance policy wordings, industry standards, and risk management best practices
  • Proven ability to analyze risks, negotiate insurance contracts, and manage claims
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
  • Professional designation in progress, such as Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) or Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE)
  • Experience in fraud investigation and prevention, or handling crime insurance claims
