What You Will Do
Strategic Advisory Services
- Support strategy development, including research, analysis and compelling strategic recommendations that solve business problems.
- Gather data and perform financial analyses to identify opportunities and diagnose issues.
- Oversee the consolidation of business performance data and deliver actionable insights to guide management decisions, including board‑level reporting.
- Create financial models to assess future state financial benefits / costs. Contribute in problem‑solving sessions, workshops and interviews with cross‑functional and business line working team members and subject matter experts.
- Collaborate with key internal and external stakeholders to support the achievement of deliverables and overall objectives.
Market, Customer and Competitive Assessment
- Provide key market, customer and competitive assessments for the overall Wealth and Financial Services industry, as well as for specific project needs, including:
- Key industry trends impacting Wealth and Financial Services industry, including regulatory, customer, geographical, innovation, etc., leveraging external industry and analyst reports, as well as through monthly internal discussions.
- Key competitive insights (financial, market, innovation, etc.), including robust benchmarking of key performance metrics that would help surface gaps / opportunities.
- Review and generate insights using other internal reports.
- Champion a client‑focused culture to deepen client relationships and leverage broader relationships, systems and knowledge.
Quarterly Board Book
- Lead the end‑to‑end completion of the Quarterly Board Book for Management Committee and Partners, including coordinating content inputs from internal teams and key stakeholders.
- Consolidate, review, and synthesize strategic, financial, and performance materials into a clear, cohesive executive‑level narrative.
- Manage timelines, version control, and quality assurance to ensure accurate, consistent, and timely delivery of Board materials.
Referral Partnerships & Relationship Management
- Act as the primary liaison between referral partners and PCM, facilitating ongoing communication and addressing any concerns or inquiries regarding the referral models or referral parties.
- Facilitate changes in referral relationships, including onboarding new advisors, revising disclosures and agreements for advisors moving firms, adjusting fee structures when needed, and managing terminations or transitions in partnership status.
- Maintain relationships with existing referral partners to foster collaboration and optimize existing relationships.
- Co‑lead the annual certification process with Compliance, coordinating content, external communications, and timely completion of required signatures.
What You Bring
- An undergraduate degree in Business, Finance, or a related field.
- 2 – 4 years of experience in business development, strategy consulting or a similar role within wealth management or financial services.
- Ability to deliver results in a fast‑paced, challenging, and dynamic business environment.
- Strong interpersonal skills, leadership, and influential capabilities.
- Strong planning and analytical skills, ability to discern research information / data and focus on the critical business issues.
- Experience working independently, as well as in partnership with other team members.
- Strong presentation and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel.
- Strong knowledge with other MS Office products including Word and PowerPoint.
Salary range: $70,000 to $80,000. The salary range provided reflects the base salary range for this position as required by legislation. In addition, there is an annual performance bonus which contributes to the total compensation for this position. Further questions may be directed to the HR team during the interview process.
