Billing analysts work for a company's accounting department. Through corresponding with clients, they are tasked with ensuring that the company clients are billed correctly, issuing invoices, and overseeing the company revenue intake.

Day in the Life
  • Prepare, review, and post all drilling and third-party invoices in coordination with the contracts, accounting, and accounts payable departments
  • Analyze rig tour sheets and drilling contracts to ensure accurate charge-out rates and billing
  • Create and maintain well files in SharePoint, storing all related documentation for each rig/job
  • Distribute invoices to operators via mail, email, and electronic transfer; report operating days to CAODC
  • Support general accounting functions, including month-end reporting, accrual entries, billing reconciliations, and other assigned duties
What We Need From You
  • Strong team player with excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Detail-oriented, self-disciplined, and eager to learn with a willingness to take on additional training
  • Minimum 3–5 years of invoicing experience in the drilling industry
  • Familiarity with accounting procedures and information systems; SAP experience is an asset
  • High school diploma required
