Key Responsibilities
  • Build and maintain strong, professional relationships with both prospects and existing clients.
  • Drive sales growth by identifying new opportunities, qualifying leads, and managing a full sales cycle from initial outreach to signed contracts.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to plan and deliver impactful software demonstrations (virtual and in-person).
  • Develop and refine sales and marketing materials to support campaigns, presentations, and product positioning.
  • Prepare and present proposals and quotes, working alongside the team to ensure follow-ups and deal closure.
  • Negotiate and finalize contracts in alignment with client needs and business goals.
  • Represent Planit Canada at industry events, trade shows, and webinars.
  • Track sales activities, leads, and client interactions in Salesforce.
  • Collaborate across departments—including sales, marketing, and support—to ensure a smooth and positive customer experience.
  • Meet or exceed an assigned sales quota.
  • Stay informed on market trends, competitive positioning, and new software capabilities.
Qualifications
  • Strong experience with CAM software and CNC machining processes.
  • Background in wood, metal, or stone manufacturing industries.
  • Confident communicator with experience in client-facing roles (sales support, demos, consulting, etc.).
  • Ability to present technical solutions in a clear, engaging manner.
  • Self-motivated and comfortable working remotely with a high degree of autonomy.
  • Willingness and ability to travel across Canada (up to 5 days per month).
Nice to Have
  • Bilingual in English and French (spoken and written).
  • Proficiency in Alphacam software.
  • Experience delivering webinars or presenting at industry events.
  • Experience with automation solutions and post-processor customization.
  • Knowledge of other CAD / CAM software.
  • Previous experience in a sales or technical consulting role.
