Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain strong, professional relationships with both prospects and existing clients.
- Drive sales growth by identifying new opportunities, qualifying leads, and managing a full sales cycle from initial outreach to signed contracts.
- Collaborate with the sales team to plan and deliver impactful software demonstrations (virtual and in-person).
- Develop and refine sales and marketing materials to support campaigns, presentations, and product positioning.
- Prepare and present proposals and quotes, working alongside the team to ensure follow-ups and deal closure.
- Negotiate and finalize contracts in alignment with client needs and business goals.
- Represent Planit Canada at industry events, trade shows, and webinars.
- Track sales activities, leads, and client interactions in Salesforce.
- Collaborate across departments—including sales, marketing, and support—to ensure a smooth and positive customer experience.
- Meet or exceed an assigned sales quota.
- Stay informed on market trends, competitive positioning, and new software capabilities.
Qualifications
- Strong experience with CAM software and CNC machining processes.
- Background in wood, metal, or stone manufacturing industries.
- Confident communicator with experience in client-facing roles (sales support, demos, consulting, etc.).
- Ability to present technical solutions in a clear, engaging manner.
- Self-motivated and comfortable working remotely with a high degree of autonomy.
- Willingness and ability to travel across Canada (up to 5 days per month).
Nice to Have
- Bilingual in English and French (spoken and written).
- Proficiency in Alphacam software.
- Experience delivering webinars or presenting at industry events.
- Experience with automation solutions and post-processor customization.
- Knowledge of other CAD / CAM software.
- Previous experience in a sales or technical consulting role.
