Job summary

A staffing agency is looking for an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer – Structures in Surrey, Canada. The successful candidate will perform maintenance duties, ensure paperwork compliance, and provide leadership to junior staff. The role requires 48+ months of AME experience and an AME license or equivalency. A comprehensive benefits package is provided as well as opportunities for training and career development. Aircraft Maintenance Engineer – Structures (AME S)

BPay

$33.35 – $38.58 per hour

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:
  • Ensure all paperwork, documentation and reporting associated with a repair is completed accurately
  • Provide coaching and leadership to junior technicians to ensure work tasks are performed efficiently and accurately, and that appropriate skills to progress in the trade are developed
  • Ensure all accordance with health and safety policies and procedures
  • Perform other duties as required
WHAT YOU’LL NEED IN ORDER TO QUALIFY:
  • 48 + months’ experience performing AME duties
  • Holder of AME license or equivalency
  • Certificate in Aircraft Maintenance Engineering (approved by TCA or the applicable governing body)
  • Good communication skills: fluent written and verbal English is mandatory
  • Basic Computer Skills: word processing, spreadsheet and database programs
  • Specific knowledge of manufacturing, maintenance, repair and modification of aircraft or systems and components in the areas of Structures and/or Composites
  • Ability to ensure that approved standards of quality control are maintained
  • Safe work practices and techniques
  • Basic coaching and leadership skills
